Gipson Bearing and Supply Company, an industrial distributor of bearings, valves, and power transmission equipment, was founded in Millvale, Pennsylvania in 1957. To better serve its steel industry customers, the company relocated to West Homestead, Pennsylvania in 1965. In addition to its West Homestead office, the company also operates branches in Wintersville, Ohio and Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
Over the years economic and technological changes have diversified Gipson Bearing's customer mix from predominately heavy industry to now encompass a wide range of industries. From traditional basic steel firms to high tech concerns, from local enterprises, to international corporations, Gipson Bearing's customers are as diversified as the products it sells. In addition to Gipson Bearing's core products of bearings, seals, sprockets, chain and v-belts, many new products have been added over the years such as shock absorbers, valves, lubricants, and industrial skin care products to serve our broad customer base.
